SHM30correctA small laser sensor for snow depth measurement,The laser snow depth sensor can accurately measure snow depth with millimeter level accuracy within seconds, up to a maximum depth of15 meters.
Based on photoelectric distance sensors, emit excitation beams that are safe for human eyes,SHM30 can measure the surface of snow layers up to a maximum depth of 50 feet. Laser distance measurement technology is different from ultrasonic snow depth measurement methods in that it is not affected by temperature changes.
When encountering the influence of precipitation and animals during the measurement process, it can be eliminated by extending the measurement time and filtering short period echoes. It can also evaluate the strength of echo signals to distinguish between snow cover and grassland.
